African Goose was established by sisters Julia and Therese in 2020. Julia, an architect based in Cape Town and Therese, a marketing professional based near London have always had a shared passion for interior design.

Fulfilling their desire to bring beautifully crafted and high-end homewares to Europe, whilst supporting independent African artisans and manufacturers, African Goose was born.

The business’s ethos is to source objects that are sustainable, high quality and that support local craftsmanship and communities in Africa. The use of the goose in the brand was not unintentional, as the species embodies the core values of their business: loyalty, care, teamwork and an aspiration to provide for their families and communities by feathering their nests.
